Oslo Hostel Rønningen

Directions and distances

From downtown: Metro 5 or tram 11, 12 and 13 go to Storo, and from there bus 56 until Rønningen. Please note that this bus only runs twice an hour, but every 20 minutes during rush hour. See www.trafikanten.no for information on timetables.

From Gardemoen Airport: Take the airport bus to Storo, and from there bus 56 to Rønningen.

By car: From the E6 and E18: Follow Ring 3 to Storo. At Storo intersection you will see signs to Grefsen/Kjelsås. Follow the tram line until you see signs to Rønningen Folkehøyskole/Oslo Hostel. Drive along Myrerskogveien untill you see Rønningen Hostel sign.

Reservations and cancellation terms

You may use the room from 15:00 day of arrival to 11:00 the day of departure. Note that arrival later than 18:00 to be agreed with us. If you are not arriving on time, we reserve the right to rent out your room. Cancellation must be received before. 18:00 on the arrival date. If not, you will be billed for 1 day for lost revenue.

House Rules

Norwegian hostels are open to everyone — welcome to our hostel.

• Members of organizations affiliated with the International hostels Federation (IYHF) and affiliated organizations, overnight at member prices. Membership card must be shown.
• Payment for accommodation on arrival.
• You can use your own bedlinen, or you can hire them in reception. Sleeping bags are not allowed in rooms
• Smoking is not allowed inside. Smoking is allowed only in designated places.
• In the interests of the other guests we ask for quiet between 23:00 and 07:00.
• Please clean the room and your bed before check out.
• Remember to deliver the key back, copying of a new key costs NOK 200.
